SERVE
“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you…” –Jeremiah 29:11
“’Which commandment is the first of all?’ Jesus answered, ‘The first is Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall the love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no greater commandment than these.”
As the body of Christ, we understand that we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world, working for justice, seeking the welfare of our community, and offering compassion and assistance to those in need near and far.
